Barre & Soul sits on the original homelands of Nipmuc, Nauset, Massachusett, Penacook, Wampanoag and thousands of others whose ancestors traveled Melrose's streams and trails engaging in networks of sophisticated cultural exchange. We pay respect to the people of those tribes, past and present, and honor the land itself which remains sacred to them. We recognize the difficult experiences that Massachusetts' indigenous peoples have faced.
